About Bath
The Town of Bath is synonymous with the old Roman Baths located there, which attract over 1 million visitors per year. The natural thermal springs still rise at The Baths, and The Baths still flow with this natural hot water. Visitors to the site can expect to explore The Baths, walk on an original Roman pavement and view many Roman artefacts in the museum.
The ancient town of Bath is also home to Bath University, whose main campus is located on Claverton Down, approximately 1.5 miles from Bath city centre.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Spa Hotels are popular in the town, with examples such as The Gainsborough Bath Spa and The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa being highly rated. A range of hotel chains also have hotels in this popular tourist town including Travelodge who have a number of hotels to choose from, and Hilton.
